Privacy policy
Last updated 17 April 2026. This policy explains what data we collect when you contact us, what we do with it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.
Who we are
This site is operated by Flush Floors Limited, a company registered in England (company number 16320660). For any privacy-related questions, contact flushfloors@outlook.com or call 07738 437214.
What we collect
We collect data in two ways:
- Enquiry form submissions — name, email, phone, postcode, property type, service interest, approximate area, preferred contact time, and the message you send. This is processed via Formspree, our form handler (see below).
- Basic website analytics — aggregate, anonymised visitor statistics via privacy-respecting analytics. No tracking cookies are set unless you explicitly opt in, and we do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or advertising retargeting.
Why we collect it
The lawful basis for processing enquiry data is legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and, for any subsequent contact, your explicit consent. We use it only to reply to your enquiry, provide a quote, and arrange a site visit if you want one. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a quote are deleted after 12 months. Where we have supplied a quote, we retain the associated contact details and the quote itself for six years to comply with tax and contract record-keeping law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Formspree
Our enquiry form is processed by Formspree, which routes form submissions to our inbox. Formspree's own privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. Submissions pass through Formspree servers to reach us.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- See what data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccuracies
- Delete your data (subject to our legal obligation to keep certain records)
- Stop using your data for marketing (we don't, but you can ask anyway)
- Receive your data in a portable format
Email flushfloors@outlook.com to make a request. We'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices change. The revision date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change.
